Farmville 2 is a sequel of Farmville which is a farming simulation social online game crafted by Zynga in the year 2009. It is very similar to the other farm games like Farm Town, Happy Farm etc. The gameplay includes all the farm managements like plowing the land, planting crops, harvesting crops after a period of time, or harvesting other buildings, harvesting trees, bushels, or building various buildings to store animals inside them.

Farmville 2 was released in September 2012 and it differs from the original Farmville in many ways:

Graphics of Farmville 2 are more realistic and 3D comparing to Farmville.
Harvested crops no longer immediately credit the farmer with coins rather they go directly to farmers inventory which farmer further sell for coins or craft for goods.
